Sometimes you may watch a dance and think: ‘How does that work?

We are very lucky in Brazilian Zouk because we have so many directions to use and explore, and we can simply classify them in Primary, Secondary and Variants. When you are social dancing and creating flow with travelling turns or in place, for example, those 3 directions can help you connect movements that previously you could only do separately and have more fun creating a fun dance.

For leaders, this workshop will teach you how to identify the precise moments where you can make changes between those directions to create endless combinations. For the followers, one of the main outtakes from this class is to understand how to identify connecting bridges and what is necessary to be available and ready for all the changes/challenges the leaders can throw at you.

With both having those skills, you can dance and create a beautiful flow and continuity with safety and comfort.
