We will explore the history of Brazilian Zouk with a focus on its various dance and musical influences from the African Diaspora. In doing so we will honor the traditions that helped to create this dance as well as find inspiration for its continued evolution. From there we will incorporate this history into the body with grounding Zouk movements.
