The aesthetic and feel most often used by professionals and experienced dancers, are the most obvious details that can distinguish Brazilian Zouk. Technically, it’s not the hardest topic, but it is one that most people don’t study, and in this workshop we will break down the steps to get into your own body and make it your own.

The ‘Zouk Body’ is achievable for everyone through consciousness, time and practice. The movements and mechanics for the leaders and followers are almost equal since everything starts from understanding where it comes from, and this is one of the reasons why most dancers fall in love with Brazilian Zouk, because of how it feels and how it looks. For those who have already covered the basics and can already lead/follow fundamental moves, it’s now time to explore how you can create your own version of the ‘Zouk Body’
