Now a days, most of our time is spent inside our minds. Often thinking and pondering about the next thing on the schedule, the next task, the next step in life, the next goal to be achieved. Often rationalizing everything, even the things that are supposed to be just felt. The constant thinking and focus on what is next take us away from the present moment. Our bodies become simple vehicles of transportation for our concerned brains, instead of being amazing homes for us to live and be present in. It is easy to lose awareness of our movements and go through the days on autopilot, living in the future, forgetting how much we can create and evolve through the discovery of our movements.

In this workshop we are going to bring ourselves to the present moment through the exploration of groundedness, evolving ours steps to become more aware of our paths we take. We will use the music and fundamentals of Brazilian Zouk to bring awareness and rediscover our walk. We will seek to evolve as human beings by showing the better version of ourselves, producing art with our bodies.
